History
  • Established as a university in 1992, University of East London is a modern university with a heritage dating back to 1898.
  • The ultra-modern Docklands Campus, opened in 2000, was London's first new university campus in 50 years.
Location and transport
  • Based on campuses at Stratford and Docklands in London.
  • Stratford Campus is close to the site of the 2012 Olympics, with all the opportunities that offers, and to Stratford Station.
  • Docklands Campus is set in a stunning, waterside location close to Canary Wharf and with its own DLR station, Cyprus.
Accommodation
  • Around 800 rooms are available in the brand-new student village, opened 2007.
  • A further 400 rooms are available in the distinctive and colourful circular Halls of Residence. On-campus accommodation starts from £92 per week
