History

  • Tuition fees (2009): £3,225.
  • Part-time tuition fee will be about 50% of the full-time rate.
  • Goldsmiths Bursary worth up to £1,000 a year is available to all students who start their studies in September 2009 and are receiving the full Higher Education maintenance grant from their LA and have a household income below £19,000.
  • The Student Residential Hardship Bursary scheme offers students from low-income families financial help with hall of residence accommodation fees.
  • Various Scholarships for academic excellence are offered, including the Warden's Scholarship worth £5,000 and the Excellence Scholarships worth £500 a year awarded by each academic department to the best new entrant based on A level or equivalent scores.
  • Access to Goldsmiths scholarship scheme is for up to 32 applicants from local schools and colleges and is worth £500 a year.
  • Rostropovich Scholarships worth £500 a year awarded to string players on the BMus in Music.
